Wow, where do I even start with all the amazing things we accomplished at Melon Local last year?
As CEO of Melon Local, I can definitely say 2022 was a milestone year for our company.
Reflecting on 2022, some of our most notable highlights include:
- Celebrating three years of fruitful partnerships
- Adding 600+ individual agents & offices as clients
- Achieving Google Premier Partner status (top 3% in the U.S.)
- Reaching nearly $15 million in client ad spend
Also, how amazing was it to meet so many of you in person at our first-ever Melon Local open house? It was an honor to have over 400 agents and 300 additional guests to see what we’re all about at the Melon Patch here in Las Vegas.
In addition, we were able to give back this year within our community by raising over $5,000 toward charitable causes, including for our friends at Pawtastic Friends and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night event.
As you’ve probably seen from many of our fun social media posts, we definitely grew as a team (metaphorically and literally). During 2022, we added 23 new Melons and established several new roles and departments, including our in-house creative team!
Being that we’re all about workplace positivity, we were able to show some Melon love to all our amazing team members this year by allowing our team to work from home at least once a month, as well as awarding end-of-year bonuses to every single Melon.
So what can we expect for 2023?
Another Year for Fresh Leads & Growth
I’m not just saying this because we’re in Vegas, but you can bet on another exciting, defining year for the Melon patch.
Despite company layoffs becoming more common across the tech industry, we’re proud to say that we are still growing and hiring — so much so we’re actually moving into a second office across the street! This is good news for all our clients as now we’re planning to have more hands on deck to help you reach all your insurance marketing goals.
You can expect to see more of us at some of the biggest industry events of the year, including as title sponsor of the upcoming Agents Hosting Agents conference in Anaheim in April!
Being that digital marketing is an ever-changing industry, we realize the importance of staying on top of the latest best practices in the biz. We’ve also been busy developing our very own Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform and look forward to sharing more about it this year.
