Front-End Web Developer
Job Description
The Front-End Web Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of our web-based tools, interfaces, and client dashboards. You’ll collaborate with the Software Engineering team, design team, and members of C-suite to deliver seamless digital experiences for both internal use and client-facing applications. This role is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about clean code, intuitive UI, and creating systems that make people say “wow.”
Starting pay is based on previous professional experience and front-end proficiency
Responsibilities
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build and maintain modern web applications using WordPress, Elementor, Divi, or any other crucial web development tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and leadership to shape the user experience
- Develop reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Maintain and improve front-end build pipelines using tools like Vite, Webpack, or similar
- Document solutions with code comments, visual flows, and internal guides
- Stay current with modern front-end development best practices and trends
- Troubleshoot and debug browser compatibility issues
- Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Commit to clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Protect operations by keeping data and code secure and confidential
- Assist in planning for scalable growth and performance
- Utilize AI wherever necessary
- Must be able to sit for 8 hours or more
- Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field is a MUST HAVE
- 2+ year of professional front-end development experience is a MUST HAVE
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques is a MUST HAVE
- Experience building out websites in Elementor, WordPress, Divi, or equivalent tools is a MUST HAVE
- Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks is preferred
- Familiarity with front-end tooling like Vite, Webpack, or Parcel
- Strong understanding of version control (Git), REST APIs, and asynchronous JavaScript
- Experience using Tailwind CSS, SASS, or other modern CSS frameworks is preferred
- Experience with back-end integration using tools like .NET Core, C#, or Azure is a plus
- Strong eye for design and UI detail; bonus points if you’ve worked closely with Figma or Adobe XD
- Knowledge of modern software engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD
- Passionate about building scalable systems with excellent UX
