Our CSM (client success manager) has helped us with what to edit and add to our website.

At first, we didn’t see a dramatic shift in our marketing efforts and our SEO and that type of stuff at the beginning, but we stayed patient with it, and after a few months, it started building. It’s been getting better and better.

They keep on top of that stuff better than we do. We really appreciate that because that’s one of those things that we sometimes let slide and get too busy to look at. And we don’t know what to add and what not to add. And my CSM is really good about making good decisions on that type of stuff.

2. Immediate Responses for Online Reviews

We’re usually pretty decent at responding to reviews, but they’re “Quick Draw McGraw” on that stuff.

As far as the reviews go, the vast majority of them are 5-star reviews. Our CSM even responds to those before we even get a chance to.

Then we had one that came through that was a poor review, not from any fault of our agency, but our CSM was able to help coach us through that and give us some suggestions.

It’s nice to just have a soundboard for our agency other than just us here at our office.

3. Melon Encourages Self-Accountability

At our monthly review meetings, Melon updates us, allows us to make adjustments, and holds us accountable.

The one thing I also like about the meetings is they’re just the right length. They don’t take too long, but they’re enough to feel like we’re getting value.

I like the way our CSM interacts and talks with my team because, let’s be honest — I’m just the agent here — I’m not in the trenches like my team members are.

She gets their input, and I appreciate that because I rely on them for that.

4. Analytics that Make a Difference

Our CSM’s personality and ability to explain the numbers we see are fantastic. I enjoy having our meetings because she makes them great. It’s not a standard, ‘oh, here are your numbers have a good day.’ It’s ‘what can I do to help you guys more?’

I like the analytics we receive and the way we can tell how cost-effective something is or is not — the fact that we can instantly make changes on the fly as market conditions change.

For example, we’ve got some auto restrictions going on in California right now, and she was able to help us beef up fire marketing and scale down our auto marketing as a result of those restrictions.

They’re engaging, and that makes Melon Local all the better for us. Best service we have ever used!

5. Agent Consultants We Can Relate To

Melon has also brought in other high-performing agents from across the country who are doing well. We’ve had detailed additional instructions from those agents, and that’s been very helpful since we can relate to them.
