The biggest difference compared to other companies is that my client success manager goes over everything with me, and she’s consistent in her meetings. I don’t remember meeting with anyone like this before. People in the past would just spit out numbers, which means nothing to me. We have detailed meetings on the calendar every month. She explains what Melon does behind the scenes in a way that I can understand.

My client success manager digs in a little deeper. It just feels like she cares — like she’s almost part of the office. For example, she’ll start looking at age demographics and say something like, “I don’t think you got your money’s worth — let’s look into this a little deeper as to why. We’re targeting 18-25-year-olds — how do you feel about that? Maybe we’ll target a different age demographic and put some more money into that area to see if we get better results.” I like that she shows concern for my office.

My Success Manager is conscious of my costs by putting my campaigns in different areas to optimize my account and help me spend effectively. She’s really good at keeping my ad spend in mind because she knows I’m not a huge agent with an unlimited marketing budget, so that’s providing value for me.

5. Agent Consultants Who Understand My Business

She doesn’t pretend to know the answer if she encounters something outside her expertise. Instead, if it’s specific to my company, she’ll say I don’t have access to this type of information, but she’ll say I know somebody who does — let me reach out to this agent consultant. I’ve even met with some of them on occasion. It’s interesting that these guys are big agents, but they’ll take the time to talk to my team members and me, and they care as well.
